In an effort to improve performance and create an appropriate work environment that keeps pace with the organizational culture in academic institutions, the UQU Vice Presidency for Female Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs and the Joint First Year Deanship, organized a workshop for female employees entitled: "How Do I Record My Achievements?" The workshop was concerned with the topic of recording and documenting achievements, since it constitutes an important process that has its advantages and impact on work development.
Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khouli, stressed the need to document achievements and pay attention to the archival aspect of female employees' work, as it constitutes one of the main backers for the continuity of professional innovation and development. This is in addition to supporting procedures for evaluating job performance and enhancing the participation of female employees in achieving the goals of the system through their achievements and efforts, all carried out in accordance with quality standards.
The workshop included an explanation of the methods of documentation and the ways followed in the professional field, along with a presentation of the multiple models for documenting achievements. Next, the attendees were allowed to make proposals and submit queries so as to help and support the female employees in establishing and maintaining guidelines for achieving their goals. Additionally, the workshop presented some examples of previous experience that enhanced the performance of female employees, and subsequently contributed to raising the level of their achievements.
