Umm Al-Qura University
The two buildings, building (B) and building (C), were inaugurated on behalf of His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, by His Excellency the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Prof. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazzazi. He was joined in the inauguration by the vice deans of the college, the heads of the departments, the Administrative Director of the College, Mr. Abdou Al-Quzi, as well as a number of university staff and employees in building (B) and building (C). The two buildings consist of classrooms and offices for academic staff members in the college.
His Excellency indicated that the infrastructure is one of the most important focuses in the educational process. The more the infrastructure is compatible with the needs of the students and the academic staff members, the better are the achievements and the contributions. In the past, the academic staff members experienced difficulties because of these offices, as well as the students, whose academic schedules were disrupted because of them. This forced the college to extend the lectures until 10 p.m. However, with the inauguration of these two buildings, the difficulties of the students and the academic staff members will ease.
His Excellency thanked the university administration for providing this infrastructure and the equipment they need. He added that the University College aspires to have more buildings due to the large number of students.
