Based on the importance of partnerships between governmental and community institutions in promoting constructive cooperation in the fields of education, research, development, science, technology, and innovation to achieve the third strategic objective of the National Transformation Program 2020, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, the Talented Students Department, affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Makkah Al-Mukkaramah, hosted Dr. Ayman Abdul-Rahim Al-Saigh, the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, and Dr. Ramia Ahmad Sindi, Vice Dean of the Community College and Assistant Professor at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, in a scientific meeting.
This meeting came out of the keenness of the General Directorate of Education in Makkah Al-Mukkaramah to care for the talented students by making use of the distinguished expertise and competencies of the leading national institutions.
This meeting was held via Zoom Application under the title, ‘Scientific Research: Technologies and Methodologies’, on Sunday 8 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1442 A.H., corresponding to 25 Oct. 2020, and targeted male and female students participating in the National Olympiad for Scientific Innovation 2021 A.C. The meeting, which was attended by 322 students, aimed at providing students with scientific research skills and developing their scientific capabilities.
