As part of the follow-up of the educational process in all branches of the deanship in Al-Leith, Al-Qunfudhah, and Jamoum, the Acting Dean of the Joint First Year, Dr. Azza bint Muhammad Bannunah, visited the male and female students’ headquarters in the deanship’s branch in Al-Leith on Tuesday, 19 Safar 1442 A.H. She was accompanied on the visit by His Excellency the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Waheeb bin Dakhilullah Al-Harbi, His Excellency the Vice Dean for Branches, Dr. Osama bin Abbas Abu Farraj, and Her Excellency the Vice Dean for the Scientific and Administrative Streams, Dr. Fayza bint Muhammad Al-Harbi.
During the visit, a meeting was held with members of the academic staff at the deanship's branch in Al-Leith. All the necessary requirements were identified for the successful conduct of midterm exams in person at the headquarters. A meeting was also held with the Dean of the College of Health Sciences in Al-Leith, Dr. Tariq bin Abdullah Zafar, and the Supervisor of the Department of Public Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Awad. In the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the Joint First Year Deanship and the College of Health Sciences in Al-Leith, as well as the necessary requirements and the alternatives proposed to complete the self-operation plan for the deanship's branch in Al-Leith. Moreover, they agreed on the continuation of the partnership and cooperation between the Deanship and the College of Health Sciences in Al-Leith in everything that would raise the quality of the educational process in the deanship and improve the inputs of the colleges participating in the Joint First Year program.
The delegation of the deanship visited the female students' headquarters at the College of Health Sciences in Al-Leith, and were received by the Vice Dean of the College of Health Sciences in Al-Leith in the female section, Ms. Khadija Al-Kinani, and the Deputy Head of the Department of Public Health, Dr. Liqaa Salem. All the necessary arrangements were determined to facilitate the conduct of midterm exams in person at the deanship branch (female section) in Al-Leith.
At the end of the visit, the Acting Dean of the Deanship of the Joint First Year, Dr. Azza bint Muhammad Bannunah, expressed her appreciation of the support the deanship received from His Excellency the University President, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and the continuous follow-up of His Excellency the Supervisor of the UQU Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Babalghith. She also stressed the importance of these visits in supporting the educational and academic process and in creating an appropriate educational environment for the male and female students. She added that this visit comes within a series of scheduled visits to follow up all matters of the Joint First Year Deanship branch in Al-Leith, and to ensure that all precautionary and health measures are provided on an ongoing basis.
