The Voluntary Work Unit at the College Celebrates the 90th National Day

The Voluntary Work Unit at the College of Social Sciences organized a voluntary initiative to celebrate the 90th National Day, last Tuesday, Safar 12, 1442 A.H., at the university's headquarters in Al-Zahir.

The initiative aimed to bring joy and happiness to all the female workers at the headquarters, out of the unit's belief in the importance of their role and sense of social responsibility towards them.

The event began with the playing of the national anthem, followed by a speech on the occasion of the 90th National Day, delivered by the volunteer ambassadors, after which all the female workers at the university were honored in appreciation of their lauded efforts.

The event was attended by the UQU Assistant Vice President for Female Student Administrative Affairs, Her Excellency Dr. Samira bint Ahmad Al-Abdali, and the Vice Dean of the College of Social Science, Dr. Khulud bint Abdullah Al-Thubaiti.

The College's Voluntary Work Unit was represented by the Deputy Head of the Department of English Language and the Unit Coordinator, Her Excellency Dr. Hanadi bint Abdulaziz bin Jameel Azhari, and a member of the Voluntary Work Unit from the Social Service Department, Dr. Amal bint Ibrahim Abduh Sulaiman, with the participation of a number of female volunteer ambassadors of the unit: Uhoud bint Fahd Al-Saeedi, Shuaa bint Ali Al-Matrifi, Nasrah bint Hasan Al-Tariqi, and Suad bint Alawi Al-Ahdal.
