Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Omar Bableghith, the college participated in the 5th Pharmacist Research Day at the premises of the Pharmacy College in Qassim University (QU) on 22-23 February, 2017 upon the invitation of the Dean of the Pharmacy College at QU.
The college took part in the event with 15 research posters in all different research fields.
The event aimed to boost scientific research and exchange expertise and researches through promoting scientific cooperation among different pharmacy colleges in the Kingdom.
The Pharmacy College won the 4th place for best research poster, themed “Indentifying the facilitators and barriers for scientific writing among pharmacy students in college of pharmacy, Umm Al-Qura University.”
The college’s participation has resulted in a cooperation initiative, proposed by Dr. Bableghith, for hosting the deans of pharmacy colleges in the Kingdom as an initial step for determining efficiencies among the college graduates and tools of credence by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as well as other aspects of mutual cooperation and expertise exchange among different pharmacy colleges.
The college’s participation comes as a result of the distinguished efforts and support by President of Umm al-Qura University (UQU), His Excellency Bakri bin M'atooq Assas, with a view to uprgrading the university and boosting its participation in all different scentific events.
