The RefWorks research tool is now available at the Saudi Digital Library, after the signing of library’s new agreement with ProQuest. This tool will increase the productivity of researchers and help them publish and manage citations, bibliographies, and references. It will also enable them to save and organize the searches they make.
How to create an account on ProQuest RefWorks using the university email:
In the event that there is a valid subscription to RefWorks by the affiliated university, you will receive a confirmation message from the website, and you will be requested to create a password. Note that your email address will be your username to log in to RefWorks.
A message containing the activation link will be sent to your email. You must activate the account before starting to use the RefWorks tool.
After clicking on the activation link, you will be directed to the RefWorks website to enter your name, job title, and the college you belong to. You will be asked if you want to download the “Save to RefWorks” tool. In the event that you have downloaded the Save tool, it will be downloaded as an add-on to your internet browser which helps you save information from various websites. In addition, there is an option to download the Write-N-Cite research tool for Mircosoft Word or the RefWorks add-on to Google Docs.
After that, you will be ready to start using RefWorks and add your research and references.
