A virtual celebration meeting was held for the female affiliates of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the College of Education on Tuesday evening, 3 Shawwal, at 9 p.m. The meeting aimed at strengthening affinity ties among the affiliates of the department by celebrating the Blessed Eid Al-Fitr and checking the well-being of the female affiliates after the Eid vacation.

The meeting included a welcoming speech and greetings by Her Excellency the Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Abir Al-Orabi. This was followed by other speeches and greetings by the attendants. Her Excellency Prof. Khadijah Jan administered the meeting. The virtual session was prepared and coordinated through the cooperated efforts of Dr. Sayed Shaaban and Dr. Enas Al-Wafi. Her Excellency the Deputy Head of the Department and all the attendants seized the opportunity of this meeting to offer thanks to Her Excellency Prof. Niveen bint Hamzah Al-Barakati for the efforts she exerted during her tenure of work. Congratulations were offered to the female staff members who were promoted to the post of professor: Prof. Sawsan Kousah, Associate Professor, Busaiynah Al-Ghamidi, and Dr. Nihad Kesnawi. Female academic staff members who attained a PhD Degree this semester: Dr. Ebtihal Ghandourah, Dr. Enas Al-Wafi, and Dr. Maimunah Abdul-Tawwab, were also offered congratulations. Moreover, Her Excellency congratulated the lecturers Uhud Al-Sayigh and Amirah Al-Qurashi for passing the comprehensive exam.

The meeting ended by supplicating Allah for the sake of our country and all Muslim countries to remove this hardship and grief from the whole Muslim nation. Indeed, He, the Almighty, is the One Who is capable of doing so.
