In light of the fruitful cooperation between the College of Education and the Department of Physical Education, and the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities and Training, the Department of Physical Education has the honor to announce the participation of Her Excellency Prof. Nirvana Nasr Al-Din, Professor of Physical Training Physiology in the Department, and Her Excellency Dr. Manal Talaat Muhammad, Associate Professor of Physical Exercises at the Department of Physical Education, in the daily meeting series conducted by the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities and Training with a lecture entitled: “Healthy Habits and Physical Activity”. The lecture was held on Saturday, 25 Sha`ban, 1441 A.H.
The lecture targeted university students and addressed many important topics related to the concept of healthy life in the light of physical activity, healthy habits related to the forms of physical exercise and their impact on a person's healthy life, types of physical activity appropriate to a healthy lifestyle from a fitness perspective, and how to practice a healthy lifestyle.
The lecture was conducted remotely via the WebEx program, and was organized by the Department of Sports Activities at the university, under the supervision of His Excellency Dr. Nahla Hariri. The number of female university students who participated reached 200 students.
