Under the noble patronage of the supervisor of the UQU Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Babalghith, and under the supervision of Her Excellency the Acting Dean of the Joint First Year, Dr. Azzah bint Muhammad Bannunah, the Joint First Year Deanship will organize the Virtual Major Selection Forum for the male and female students of the Deanship for the academic year 1441 A.H.

The forum reflects the distinguished and developing partnership between the Joint First Year Deanship and the other colleges involved in the program. It aims to introduce the available majors to students who have completed the Joint First Year Program according to the medical, scientific, and administrative streams. The forum also offers a good opportunity for students to inquire about anything they want to know regarding the nature and requirements of these majors and the future opportunities available for the graduates of each major.

The deanship, in collaboration with the participating colleges, has set Sunday 19 Sha`ban 1441 A.H. at 8:00 p.m., to start the forum for the students of the administrative stream, Monday 20 Sha`ban, 1441 A.H. at 4:00 p.m. to start the forum for the students of the health stream, and the forum of the students of the scientific stream on the same day at 7:00 p.m.

The Acting Dean of the Joint First Year, Her Excellency Dr. Azzah Bannunah, stated that this forum intends to pave the way for the students to select the appropriate major, indicating that the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Education, as stated in the National Transformation Program 2020 and Saudi Vision 2030, confirm the importance of boosting the capability of the educational system to meet the development and labor market requirements, honing the skills of the youth, and utilizing them. She pointed out that the Joint First Year Deanship has harnessed all its potential to serve the students by providing academic courses, together with student activities, in accordance with quality and excellence standards.
