The next semester will witness launching of the academic advising portal for the college students. The portal is the first of its type at the level of Umm Al-Qura university. It is aimed at facilitating and following up academic advising as an integral part of the educational process.  

Other than the academic advising,  the portal has many benefits which include enabling data collection, student communication, evaluating students status and progress besides many other services which will be uncovered consecutively, Allah willing.  

We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Dr. Khalid Khayyat and  his team for this useful and pioneering project and also to Dr. Aymen Al-Rihaili and members of the teaching staff in the department of computer  in charge of the portal and its activation.
