(60) Students Participate in the Successful Entrepreneur Program at the College of Engineering in Al-Leith

The Colleges of Engineering and Computers in Al-Leith, represented by the Council of Entrepreneurship, organized a course entitled, "The Successful Entrepreneur", in cooperation with the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Umm Al-Qura University. The course was delivered by Dr. Hisham Malak, an academic staff member at the institute, at the headquarters of Entrepreneurship Council in Al-Abdiyyah, and witnessed the participation of more than (60) students from various disciplines in the Colleges of Engineering and Computers.

During the session, the trainer discussed the characteristics that make a successful entrepreneur, and the methods and techniques for improving entrepreneurial skills. The aim was to spread a culture of self-employment among the members of society, build positive behavior towards its practice, and establish a national program for entrepreneurship and for developing small and emerging projects.

The Dean of the Colleges of Engineering and Computers, Dr. Iskandar bin Muhammad Hawsawi, stressed that the purpose of the Successful Entrepreneur Program was to prepare successful entrepreneurial individuals by providing them with adequate knowledge about the concept of entrepreneurship, and familiarizing participants with the life cycle of companies and projects as well as the requirements of each stage. The aim is for each participant to develop personal characteristics suitable for a successful entrepreneur.
