Under the patronage of His Excellency the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Prof. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazzazi, and in the presence of a number of their excellencies the vice deans of the college and academic staff members, the third boxing championship, organized by the University College Club of the Deanship of Students Affairs in cooperation with the Department of Physical Education, was held at the main yard of the college.

The ceremony began with the royal anthem, and then the Head of the Department of Physical Education, Dr. Mastur bin Ali Al-Faqih, delivered a welcome speech. He was followed by a speech given by His Excellency the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmad Al-Mat-hami. After that, His Excellency the Dean of the College announced the opening of the championship.

The championship started, including three weight divisions, as follows: lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight. The event included an educational speech by Prof. Hisham Ahmad Sayid about boxing and the prevention of injuries while playing it.

At the end of the championship, the winners of the first place in each weight division received the championship cup and the gold medal, while the winners of the second place received silver medals. The organizers of the event were honored, and commemorative photographs were taken with the Dean of the College and the academic staff members. The championship was attended by a great number of students, faculty members, and administrators who interacted with the games.
