Under the generous auspices of His Excellency Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, Dean of the Joint First Year Deanship, the deanship hosted the Microsoft certified trainer and instructor Ms. Abeer bint Muhammad Al-Mihdar to give a lecture about the 'uses of Microsoft teams' to all the scientific and administrative staff and students. The lecture was held under the supervision of the Vice Dean for the Two Streams (scientific and administrative) in Al-Shishah, Her Excellency Dr. Haifaa bint Husain Hijazi, and in cooperation with the Deanship of Information Technology in the university, at the deanship's headquarters in Al-Shishah.

The program is considered one of the knowledge sharing programs the university is very keen to offer through more than 100 applications on the same interface for more than 250 persons, as the program provides various features which help groups and institutions share work and exchange information. It also provides video communication to individuals and groups for collaborative work on documents, and enables the users to make cooperative projects' achievement files and check the library content when needed. The program can be run on a mobile phone or laptop. Finally, the workshop concluded by thanking the trainer for the efforts she exerted.
