Proceeding from the strategy of the Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage to link the Islamic heritage with the different contemporary scientific specializations in an endeavor to make use of this heritage in the modern scientific and cultural trends, a meeting was held on Tuesday Rabie Al-Thani 26, 1438 H between the delegation of the college of Medicine led by the Dean Dr. Anmar Nassir and the Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage led by Prof. Adnan bin Mohamed Al-Harthi. The meeting aimed at setting proper means to make us of the Islamic medical heritage in such manner that serves the medical science and services in the contemporary era.
The accompanying delegation of the Dean of the College of Medicine included Dr. Hani Al-Moalim, Dr. Jamal Hamdi and Dr. Saeed Al-Harthi. The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean of the Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage Dr. Abdurrahman bin Hussein Abo Al-Kheour, Dr. Mohamed bin Obaid, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mobaraki and Dr. Adnan Al-Qaisi.
It is worth mentioning here that the meeting is the first one and will be followed by more similar meetings to complete the work of the program that will achieve the sought-after objectives, Allah willing.
