His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, issued an administrative decision to renew the appointment of Dr. Muhammad bin Tahir Abid as Vice Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Leith for a tenure of two years, from 18 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. Prof. Abdullah asked Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to help Dr. Muhammad and grant him success in performing his duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of this university to enable it to reach its desired goals.
On his part, Dr. Abid stressed that he was grateful for gaining this confidence due to the renewal of his appointment as Vice Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Leith for a tenure of two years. He expressed his appreciation for the trust that His Excellency UQU President has put in him, and thanked the UQU vice presidents for the support the college receives from them and from the different administrations of the university. He also pointed out that this decision will raise his sense of responsibility, and will urge him to exert further efforts in order to provide everything that will raise the status of the university and its students. Finally, he asked Allah to grant him guidance and success in performing his duties towards the college and its affiliates.
