Her Excellency Dr. Nawar Muhammad Al-Harbi presented a program entitled: "Growth Characteristics of the Primary and Preparatory Stages and Their Educational Applications" on Tuesday 24 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at Haradh School, for the primary and preparatory stages, in Haradh Village, Makkah Region.

The purpose of the program was to educate the target group (mothers, teachers, and elementary and preparatory school pupils) on topics related to the concept of growth characteristics for the primary stage ages 6-9 years, for the lower grades, and growth characteristics for ages 9-12 years, for the higher grades, as well as the characteristics of growth in the preparatory stage for ages 12-16 years, and educational applications for each stage, and a number of educational problems and methods of treatment and prevention of them.

The importance of participation in raising awareness among teachers of the characteristics of growth appears at every age, which helps define appropriate teaching methods and teaching aids. It also helps in understanding the individual differences between female students and that they differ in their mental and physical capacities. It further helps mothers and teachers understand the stages of growth and the transition from one stage to another; each stage of development has its own distinct characteristics. Solutions were presented to address the problems of female students in education and their treatment methods.

The program was attended by mothers of female students and school teachers. It was concluded with the school principal, Ms. Noura Al-Otaibi, honoring Her Excellency Dr. Nawar Muhammad Al-Harbi and praising her distinguished efforts.
