The Secretariat of the Scientific Council is pleased to announce to the faculty members the approval of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University of their academic promotions included in the Eighteenth Session of the Academic Council for the Academic Year 1441 A.H. The secretariat wishes them much success in their scientific research, and asks Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to encompass them with support to achieve their aspirations and accomplish their goals.

1. Promotion of Dr. Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Harbi, Associate Professor in the Department of Social Services, College of Social Sciences, to the position of professor.
2. Promotion of Dr. Ateeq bin Ahmad Hasan Al-Zahrani, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, University College in Al-Qunfudhah, to the position of associate professor.
3. Promotion of Dr. Isam Bin Ali Hasan Khan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and Scientific Services at the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, to the position of associate professor.
4. Promotion of Dr. Amani bint Hamad Mansour Al-Shuaibi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Education and Psychology, University College in Al-Qunfudhah, to the position of associate professor.
5. Promotion of Dr. Noura bint Saleh Shams Faruqi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science, College of Computer and Information Systems, to the position of associate professor.
6. Promotion of Dr. Khawlah bint Ali Hasan Saleh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Islamic Studies, University College in Al-Qunfudhah, to the position of associate professor.
7. Promotion of Dr. Jamilah Bint Mubti Hamid Al-Mas`udi, Assistant Professor in the Department of History, College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, to the position of associate professor.
8. Promotion of Dr. Hanadi bint Ahmad Abdul-Fattah Kattu`ah, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, College of Applied Sciences, to the position of associate professor.
9. Promotion of Dr. Fatimah Bint Muhammad Taher Hamid, Assistant Professor in the Department of Language, Grammar and Morphology, at the College of Arabic Language, to the position of associate professor.
