Al-Qunfudhah University College (Female Section) Holds a Vaccination Campaign Against Seasonal Influenza for Its Affiliates

Under the direction of His Excellency the Dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudhah, Prof. Omar Al-Hazzazi, under the noble patronage of Her Excellency the Vice Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Dr. Sharifah Al-Hazimi, and under the supervision of the Vice Dean of Female Student Affairs, a vaccination campaign against seasonal influenza was held for the college's academic staff, employees, and students. The campaign was implemented within the framework of community partnership with the Ministry of Health, represented by Al-Khalidiyyah Health Center. It took place on Tuesday, 17 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at the medical clinic, and benefited a large number of the female affiliates.

The campaign was held in the presence of the Vice Dean of Female Student Affairs, Dr. Nuwair Bajabir; the Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Psychology, Dr. Um Al-Zain Badawi; and the Assistant Administrative Director, Ms. Ms. Zahraa Al-Mahmoudi. The campaign was also attended by the administrative, educational, and supervisory staff, as well as all the college affiliates. The Media Center Coordinator, Ms. Laila Al-Sheikhi, played an outstanding role in carrying out media coverage and documentation for the campaign. As part of the activities of the campaign, an educative lecture was delivered by Dr. Dina Abdullah and Dr. Sayyidah Muhammad.

The College Vice Dean offered her thanks to the Directorate of Health Affairs, the medical staff, and the Director of the Community Partnership Unit for their efforts in coordinating matters and advertising for the campaign. She also thanked the outstanding group of female employees who participated in this campaign for their warm reception and the well-organized activities.

At the end of the campaign, certificates of appreciation were handed out by the Vice Dean of the University College to the medical staff and everyone who contributed to the activation of this campaign, in return for the efforts exerted in raising awareness.
