The College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies participated in the Tabsir [Enlightenment] campaign, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, on Wednesday and Thursday, 11 and 12 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., under the leadership of the program coordinator Ms. Mariam Musa, the Secretary of the Educational Affairs Unit.
On the first day, the program included entertainment corners for the female students, such as the corner of the College of Shari`ah. These corners included games, competitions, and the distribution of gifts and prizes. The activities took place in the external lounge, near Al-Jawharah Hall.
On Thursday, 12 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., the second day, the program included an introductory corner entitled, "What are my rights and duties?", which explained the students rights and duties, with regard to educational affairs (deletion, addition, division amending, apology, postponement, course withdrawal, transfer from one department to another, the issuance of the university card, etc.). These matters were clarified in a simple way. After that, gifts of cups containing phrases of encouragement were distributed, and brochures and booklets explaining the rights and duties of the students were also handed out, along with pens. It is noteworthy that the corner won the admiration of all the attendees.
