His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Kamal Hussain, Associate Professor at the Department of Health Information Management Technology at the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, received the prestigious Green Leadership Award 2020 A.C.

This award is granted by the Environment and Social Development Association (ESDA) in Delhi for those who participate greatly and show their distinction in their fields of specializations. Dr. Kamal received this award at the World Summit for Environment 2020 A.C., at Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute in Delhi University, which was held during the period from 18 to 19 January, 2020 A.C.

He was invited as a keynote speaker, and delivered a speech on managing hospital environments through national and international accreditation. This event was attended by a great number of prominent figures from the ministers of the Indian government, holders of the Ramon Magsaysay Award, presidents of several universities, researchers, university students, and employers.

The College of Public Health and Health Informatics, represented by the Dean of the College, His Excellency Dr. Ahmad bin Omar Babalghith, and all its affiliates, offer their sincere congratulations to His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Kamal for this achievement, which reflects the distinction and development of the academic staff members at Umm Al-Qura University.

On his part, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics praised the support and the keenness of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, in supporting and encouraging academic staff members to achieve distinction in all fields at the national and international levels.
