The Saudi Athletics Federation, in cooperation with His Excellency Mr. Za'id Al-Tuwairqi, a lecturer in the Physical Education Department and former head of the National Teams Committee in the Saudi Athletics Federation, who is currently on a PhD scholarship, is conducting scientific research aimed at the early detection of risk factors associated with heart disease for retired players. This endeavor is prompted by the Federation's social responsibility to raise awareness and prevent heart disease.
