2nd Round of Islamic Economy Fiqh Forum in Dubai

The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD) is organizing the Second Round of the Islamic Economy Fiqh Forum in collaboration with the Islamic Fiqh Academy (IFA) of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) under the theme: "Hedging in Islamic Financial Transactions: Rules and Regulations."

It would be held on April 24-25, 2017. It is an important field of study that have not yet considered from the view of the Islamic Sharia and still in need for research and study.

The forum discusses four main subjects: The first is "The Concept and Types of Hedging in Capital Markets." The Second subject is "Tools of Hedging in Capital Markets and Sharia Rules," while the third subject would discuss "Hedging Operations and Islamic Banking Application according to Sharia Law."

In the conclusion, the forum would discuss the fourth subject under the title: Rules, Effects and Alternatives of Hedging. The deadline for receiving research titles and summaries is January 31.
