In order to achieve integration among colleges, institutes, and supporting deanships at Umm Al-Qura University, a joint introductory meeting between the Deanship of Scientific Research and the College of Judicial Studies and Regulations was held on Tuesday, 20 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at King Abdulaziz Supporting Hall (male section) and the Deanship of Scientific Research Training Hall (female section).
The meeting aimed to provide information about the Deanship of Scientific Research and its research services offered to enrich the prestigious scientific research and publishing, and answer the inquires of researchers at the college.
The meeting was inaugurated by his Eminence the Dean of the College of Judicial Studies and Regulations, Dr. Ali bin Ahmad Al-Hudhaifi, who praised the efforts and the developmental vision of the Deanship of Scientific Research to upgrade scientific research at Umm Al-Qura University. Then, his Excellency the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Muhammad bin Shukri Al-Sufi, offered an educative presentation in which he gave an overview of the deanship, its goals, and research centers. His Excellency also talked about research grants offered to researchers, and the achievements and future expectations of the scientific chairs. The meeting was attended by more than forty researchers.
At the end of the meeting, questions posed by the affiliates of the college concerning research groups and the specialized strategic issues that were tackled in research to serve the community in legal and judicial aspects were answered. These efforts aim to achieve the expectations and the future vision of the University of being a legal reference for judicial research.
The Deanship of Scientific Research praised the continuous support offered by his Excellency the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdul-Wahhab Al-Resini. He also expressed his thanks to His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, for his continuous follow-up and encouragement of the work of the deanship in a way that achieves the research goals of the university.
