Umm Al-Qura University participated in the Fifth Jouf University Book Fair, from 15 to 24 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., which was inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Nawaf Bin Abdul-Aziz, Governor of Al-Jouf Region. The fair was attended by the President of Jouf University, Prof. Ismail Al-Bishri, and exhibited the most prominent scientific and research books, in several fields.

The Umm Al-Qura University delegation participating in the exhibition was headed by Mr. Fahd bin Awad Al-Mas`udi, a librarian in the library of the Manuscripts Institute and the Revival of Islamic Heritage, along with Mr. Salim bin Ali Al-Buqami, Mr. Fawwaz bin Jazi Al-Sharif, Mr. Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al-Balushi, Mr. Rami bin Ibrahim Al-Hakami, and Mr. Qasim bin Met Dari.

The delegation appreciated the keenness and interest of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, to participate in these occasions that contribute to showcasing the scientific production of the university. The university delegation to the Jouf University also praised Umm Al-Qura University Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdul-Wahab Al-Resini, for his continuous follow-up of the work of the Standing Committee for Exhibitions.
