The Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs publicized updates of the Job Performance Management Regulation among the university employees, as well as approved evaluation forms, to enable employees to clearly articulate their objectives and to have criteria for achieving agreed-upon targets by the end of the year. The induction is part of the Job Performance Assessment Workshop, organized by the deanship, on Sunday, 27 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Service. It was transmitted via video conference to Al-Zahir Campus (female section), the Joint First Year Deanship in Al-Shishah Campus, and the Jamoum University College, in the presence of the UQU Vice Dean for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli.

In a speech delivered on behalf of the Dean Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdi, the Vice Dean of the Joint First Year, Dr. Mahmoud Fallatah stressed the relevance of the Job Performance Management duties, established in accordance with the King Salman Human Resources Program and spirited by Saudi Vision 2030, to increase the productivity of government employees. He highlighted the importance of strengthening the bridges of communication among university employees through a series of workshops carried out by the Deanship in the university branches of Al-Leith and Al-Qunfudhah, not to mention the promotion system programs and the meeting package to be provided by the deanship in the next phase.

The Vice Dean, Dr. Khulud Abu Al-Naja, stated that the workshop explained the terms used in the performance assessment forms and stages, and the role of the Performance Charter in the formulation of objectives approved by employees side by side with the relevant entity or sector at the beginning of the academic year. This should further help employees fulfill that charter through monthly achievement reports, and identify the weaknesses and strengths of the employees. She stressed the importance of compulsory classification of performance, and identification of levels of excellence, as tools that help the immediate boss to conduct accurate assessments based on the data provided.
