The Secretariat of the Academic Council is pleased to announce to the academic members the approval of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University of the academic staff promotions included in the ninth session of the Academic Council for the academic year 1441 A.H. The Secretariat wishes them much success in their scientific research, and asks Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to encompass them with support to achieve their aspirations and accomplish their goals.

Names of academic staff members and their promotions:

1. Promotion of Dr Sami Hijazi Mustafa Al-Tum, Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics in Al-Qunfudhah University College, to professor.
2. Promotion of Dr. Tariq bin Muhammad Ali Al-Uqala, Assistant Professor at the Department of Administrative and Humanitarian Research at the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, to associate professor.
3. Promotion of Dr. Hiba bint Sa`id Ahmad Baqadir Al-Amoudi, Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry in the College of Medicine, to associate professor.

Moreover, suitable recommendations for the topics included in the agenda of the aforementioned session were made.
