A Seminar on ‘Voluntary Work: Definition, Fields, and Importance for Saudi Vision 2030’

On Wednesday morning, 14 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1441 A.H., under the auspices of the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs, female section, at Al-Qunfudhah University College, and the direct supervision of the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Nuwair Ba-Jabir, the Ghiras Volunteer Club hosted a number of volunteer teams from Al-Qunfudhah province in a seminar entitled:  "Voluntary Work: Definition, Fields, and Importance for Saudi Vision 2030. During the seminar, which was held in the college theater, the teams presented their experiences, programs, and ideas in order to enrich the volunteer work and push it to wider areas.

Volunteer teams from the Charity Association of Hala participated in the seminar, as well as Mu'thirun team affiliated to the Charity Association of Al-Muzhaylif, Warif team of Al-Quoz, Falak team, and Athar team. The audience listened to a speech from the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Nuwair Ba-Jabir, who welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their active participation in the program. Then the Vice Dean, Dr. Sharifah Al-Hazmi, thanked and welcomed the audience. The participating teams then presented their experiences and programs to conclude the seminar with an open dialogue during which many questions and queries were raised about the work of the teams. They were then given certificates of appreciation from the Vice Deanship.

Many people attended the seminar, which included the active participation of the college staff, especially the students of the Ghiras Volunteer Club, who had a large role in coordinating and managing the seminar, under the supervision of Ms. Taqwa Abdul-Karim; member of the Information and Documentation Committee, Ms. Laila Al-Sheikhi; and member of Registration and Follow-Up, Ms. Zahraa Al-Mahmoudi.
