Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, the UQU President, visited the pavilion of the College of Pharmacy at the accompanying exhibition that was held within the framework of the events of the First Forum for Scientific Research. During his visit, Dr. Assas listened to the presentation of Dr. Ahmad bin Omar Ba-Bilghaith, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Magdi Ba-Khitan, the Supervisor of the Vice-Deanship for Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, on the most prominent scientific researches published by the faculty members at the college. In addition, he checked the scientific annex that includes the publications of the faculty members and their research grants.

The college presented in the forum 41 research posters for the faculty members, along with a visual presentation on the main researches of the faculty members and the number of research citations of each member. Furthermore, the college distributed CDs entitled “Researcher’s Tools in Health Sector” for the visitors of its pavilion at the exhibition.

On his part, Dr. Assas praised the achievements of the faculty members in the field of scientific research and wished them further success.
