By Allah's support, the first meeting of the Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage was held for the academic year 1440/1441 A.H., at 11:00 a.m., on Sunday, 6 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., at the institute's meeting room. The meeting was headed by His Excellency the Dean of the Institute of Manuscripts and the Revival of Islamic Heritage, Dr. Saeed bin Ali bin Abdan Al-Ghamdi, and attended by Their Excellencies the members of the council.

The attendants discussed a number of topics on the meeting agenda. At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Saeed bin Ali Al-Ghamdi, the Dean of the Institute of Manuscripts and the Revival of Islamic Heritage, thanked the members of the council, and praised their role in serving the institute. He also wished them success in the coming period.
