The College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, represented by the College Vice Deanship for Training and Community Service, held a course entitled, "Skills for Dealing with Highly Motivated People", on Monday, 22 Safar 1441 A.H., in Al-Jaffali Hall 2. The course was presented by Her Excellency Dr. Nadia Al-Lihyani in the presence of the Vice Dean for Training and Community Service, Dr. Maha Al-Utaibi.

The course aimed at explaining how to deal with people with special needs, such as the blind, deaf, mute, those who are partially or completely paralyzed, and those with Down syndrome; the aim is to encourage them, motivate them, pay attention to their education, and refine their talents. She cited some of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) situations with this type of people, like the Companion Abdullah bin Umm Maktoum (may Allah be pleased with him), whom the Prophet made a muezzin.

The course included a Q/A session, when the students' queries were answered. At the end of the event, which drew the admiration of the audience, Dr. Maha Al-Utaibi honored Her Excellency Dr. Nadia Al-Lihyani for her efforts in the course.
