The affiliates at the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research discussed the primary features of the suggested scientific chairs from among the Institute’s staff members on Sunday 19th Rabi’I 1438H morning. This was within the framework of the Institute’s strategic plan development. The event was held at the Research Tent headquarters, and attended by Dr. Hamzah Ghalman, Dean of the Institute, the vice-deans, heads of departments and the entire staff of the Institute.
The workshop started with a welcome speech followed by a presentation by the Scientific Chairs Group on the previously-suggested scientific chairs at the Institute. The group demonstrated a number of UQU scientific chairs, the objectives and standards of scientific chairs’ selection, and the expected results of scientific chairs’ activation at the Institute. In addition, it pointed out to a number of scientific and research bodies, centers and institutions that could cooperate with the Institute in its specialization. The workshop involved also many valuable discussions and interventions that enriched the event.
