Under the auspices of His Excellency the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Prof. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazzazi, in the presence of their Excellencies the vice deans of the college, heads of departments, academic staff, and students of the different departments of the college, the Department of Physical Education at Al-Qunfudhah University College opened an introductory exhibition for its programs and activities. The exhibition was accompanied by sports demonstration for the students in Judo under the slogan "The Department of Physical Education: Excellence and Achievement." The exhibition contained various corners, including:

• A corner to introduce the department's vision, mission, and objectives to serve the university and the community.
• A corner called "We Are Proud of Them," which included some examples of the outstanding students of the department who are currently working as officers, instructors, trainers and administrators.
• A "Symposiums and Forums" corner, which included a presentation for a number of local and international symposiums and scientific forums such as the International Forum for the Department of Physical Education in Al-Qunfudhah, entitled "Professionalism in Sports," in addition to an osteoporosis symposium and a "Be Happy" symposium.
• An "Achievements in Sporting Activities" corner,  which included a presentation for the participation of Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Physical Education Department in Al-Qunfudah, the winner of three consecutive athletics tournaments, in addition to the participation and winning of advanced positions in the Judo tournament within the activities of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities. Also, the department is the winner of the UQU President’s Futsal Championship. 
• A Corner for "Sport Shows" which included sports show in the opening of the UQU President's Athletics Championship in addition to sports show in the celebration of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities held under the patronage of the Minister of Education.
• A Corner for "The achievements in the cultural activities and community service",  which included a number of volunteering initiatives by the students of the department including the initiative of "Stand up for the Teacher and Glorify Him"  the initiative of "Your Health is in Your Steps", the initiative of "Those with Great Determination", the initiative of "Fast Breaking" and the first and second cultural competition at the level of Umm Al-Qura University for Al-Qunfudhah Branch
• A corner for "Awards and Excellence Certificates," which included a number of memorial shields and appreciation certificates offered by the Minister of Education, the Chairman of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities, His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, His Excellency the President of Al-Damam University, His Excellency the President of Bisha University, His Excellency the President of King Abdul-Aziz University, and His Excellency the President of Jazan University.

The event also included a visual presentation about the achievements and the activities of the department. At the conclusion of the event, His Excellency the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College lauded the achievements of the department and the excellence of the academic staff members and students.

At the end of the event, Dr. Mastur Al-Faqih, Head of the Physical Education Department at the Qunfudhah Campus, handed out a memorial shield to the dean of the college for sponsoring the ceremony.
