Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Ashi, the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences held a meeting with students of the Department of Laboratory Medicine on Tuesday 12 Rajab 1437 H. within the framework of the College’s interest in communicating with students and following up all that is related to the educational process. The meeting was attended by Dr. Ayman Al-Sayegh, the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs and Dr. Amr Abdelfattah, the Head of the Department.
Dr. Ashi confirmed the importance of these meetings which allow students to express their points of view regarding the educational process and the educational environment of the College. He further stated that any constructive opinion put forth by students will be hailed. This is because these meetings aim to constantly improve and develop the quality of the educational process and renew the four-year international academic accreditation certificate awarded to the College, which is a general policy adopted by the College.
During the meeting, students expressed their views and asked questions regarding the internship year and the graduation project. Dr. Ashi, Dr. Al-Sayegh and Dr. Abdelfattah answered all questions and promised to alleviate all obstacles.
Second, third and fourth year students were keen on attending the meeting since it provides them with an opportunity to express their opinions. The Dean also confirmed that students should do their best in the second semester because this will have a positive effect on the quality of the educational process and the College outputs, and will be accordingly reflected in the students’ results. Finally, he wished students remarkable success and constant excellence.
