Dean of Preparatory Year Sa'd bin Saeed Al Ghamdi paid a visit on Tuesday and Wednesday, Rabi' Al Awwal 7-8, 1438H to the deanship’s offices in Al-Leith and Al-Qunfudah.

During the tour, he was accompanied by ex-dean of the College Dr. Wahib bin Dakhil Ullah Al Harby, Director General of the Preparatory Year Deanship Mr. Ahmed bin Hassan Saleh Al Sebyani.

The visit was meant to make sure all quality measures and supplies are in place to create a favorable educational climate for students and staff members. Also, they delivered a message of thanks to employees from President of Umm Al Qura University Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas and Vice President Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Srouji and the academic leaders for their efforts exerted to overcome challenges.

During the first stop, the delegation inspected the deanship’s new building in Al Leith and held a meeting with the students and listened to their academic requests. Dr. Ghamdi made sure that the educational services were supplied according to the highest quality levels.

Later, they met with staff members and listened to their suggestions before holding discussions with the Dean of Health Sciences College Dr. Tareq Dhafr and Vice Dean Anas Dabloul.

The deanship’s delegation made another visit to the deanship’s office for student affairs in Al-Qunfudah. The second stop included a tour at the lecture halls and meetings held with the students to get acquainted with their aspirations and queries.

Also, they met the staff members and further discussed their suggestions and opinions before holding another meeting with Dean of Engineering and Computer Colleges Dr. Jaber Al Zahrani on the sidelines of the visit. They reiterated importance of boosting partnership and cooperation in order to provide better services for the UQU students.

Dr. Al Ghamdi saluted Dr. Assas and Dr. Al-Srouji for support given to the Preparatory Year Deanship. He thanked them for following up operation at the deanship.
