His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, has issued an administrative decisions, based on the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Education, to renew the appointment of His Excellency Dr. Iskandar bin Muhammad bin Adam Hausawi as Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Leith for a tenure of two years, from 05 Ramadan, 1440 A.H., in addition to his current work. Prof. Abdullah asks Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to help Dr. Iskandar and grant him success in performing his duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of this university to enable it to reach its desired goals.

His Excellency's decision is part of the comprehensive developmental activity that the university is witnessing in all fields. It is also part of the University's earnest endeavors to achieve its goals, fulfill its vision, and accomplish its future mission in order to be the leader in terms of its various programs and activities that are in harmony with the Saudi Vision 2030.

On his part, Dr. Iskanar bin Muhammad Hausawi stressed that he is grateful for gaining this confidence due to the renewal of his appointment as Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Leith for a tenure of two years. He expressed his appreciation for the trust that His Excellency UQU President had put in him, and thanked the UQU vice deans for the support the college receives from them and from the different administrations of the university. He pointed out that this decision will raise his sense of responsibility and will urge him to exert further efforts in order to provide everything that would raise the status of the university and its students. Finally, His Excellency asked Allah to grant Dr. Iskandar success in performing his duties towards the college and its affiliates.
