The Preparatory Year Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Department of University Life Skills, organized the “Documentary and Awareness Film Making” Course. The course was presented by Dr. Wajdi Helmi, Associate Professor at the Department of Mass Communication, the College of Social Sciences.

The course was attended by a large number of students and staff members. It aimed at the explanation of documentary films’ meaning, types, and ways of shooting and production in order to urge students to participate in the Eighth Student Forum, God Willing!

At the end of the course, Dr. Ahmad Al-Zahrani, Vice-Dean of the Preparatory Year for Educational Affairs, honoured Dr. Wajdi Helmi, who presented the course, for his distinctive, attractive and interesting ideas and information. He also extended thanks to the Deanship of Student Affairs for their support in launching such courses and events.
