The Department of Psychology, in collaboration with the Course Center at the College of Education (female section), held a training course entitled, "Designing Guiding and Training Programs", on Wednesday, 10 Safar 1441 A.H., from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The course aimed at identifying the method of designing training and guiding programs, with regard to their importance, objectives, targeted category, used theories and technologies, place and time of the program, bases and sources, and the manner of distributing guiding sessions in a set time table. The course also presented information on the opening and concluding sessions, and the determiners and advantages of the success of programs.
The course was attended by a group of postgraduate female students, Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Abir Al-Sabban, and the Deputy Head of the Islamic Education Department, Dr. Sarah Al-Mutairi.
Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College thanked the Department of Psychology and the trainer offering the course, Dr. Sumayah Sharaf. She indicated that such courses endorse cognitive and scientific values for practitioners and students in the fields of psychology and education. She wished more courses would be held to enrich knowledge and develop skills in different educational aspects.
