The College of Applied Medical Sciences held an honoring and farewell ceremony for Dr. Fawziah Haidar, Assistant Professor at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, on Tuesday 7^th Rabi’I 1438H. The event was organized as Dr. Haidar was going to leave Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) to return to her homeland.

The ceremony was honored with the attendance of Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Eshi, the Dean, the Vice-Deans, and a group of male and female staff members.

Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Eshi, the Dean of the College, praised the period in which Dr. Fawziah Haidar worked. He said that she was characterized with generosity and distinction in all domains. Dr. Fawziah Haidar was a role model as a distinguished teacher of Microbiology, a virtuous mother to successive generations of male and female students, and an eminent brilliant researcher in her field of specialization.

In this context, all the attendees expressed their deep thanks and gratitude to Dr. Fawziah Haidar, and wished her guidance and success.
