PhD students at UQU, sport management major at the Physical Education Department, under the supervision of Prof. Nabil Abdul-Muttalib, paid a visit to King Abdullah Sports City (The Jewel) in Jeddah. They were received by the Director of the Sports City, His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Muhaisen, his assistant the Director of Events, His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Al-Eissa, and a number of officials working in the city.
The visit lasted about five hours, and included a tour of the city as well as a detailed explanation of each site and its work mechanism. It is worth mentioning that this visit is one of the requirements of the course on the management of sports facilities and human resources management in this year's doctoral program.
At the end of the visit, the administration and staff of the city were thanked for the warm reception and detailed explanation, with the promise to establish a partnership between the Sports City and Umm Al-Qura University, represented in the Physical Education Department, in the coming days, Allah willing.
