Under the noble patronage of His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Suhail Al-Harbi, the Department of Arabic Language at Jamoum University College held the first meeting of academic advising for the first semester of the academic year (1440-1441 A.H.) on Tuesday, 25 Muharram, 1441 A.H. The meeting was held in order to enlighten the new students of the Department of Arabic Language about the university regulations and laws, in general, acquaint them with the programs offered by the Department of Arabic Language, in particular, and raise their awareness about the status of the Arabic language and the importance of learning it to understand the verses of the Qur'an.
The meeting was presented by His Excellency the Head of the Department, Dr. Omar bin Awwad Al-Harbi, and the department's academic staff: His Excellency Dr. Nasir Dakhilullah Al-Saeedi, His Excellency Dr. Al-Waleed Al-Minshawi, and His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Uwais Jumaah. At the end of the meeting, all the students' questions were answered.
The event was attended by a large number of the department's academic staff and new students.
