Under the generous auspices of His Excellency Dr. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazzazi, Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, and the supervision and support of the Vice Dean of Student Affairs (female section) in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Sharifah Eissa Al-Hazmi, Al-Leith University College celebrated the 89th anniversary of the National Day. This took place on Tuesday, 25 Muharram 1441 A.H.
The ceremony was attended by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the deputy heads of the various departments, the academic staff members, and the directors of the administrative units. The vice dean was pleased with the distinguished participation of students in this year's event and the programs prepared for the ceremony.
The ceremony began with a recitation of the Qur'an, and was followed by the Royal Salute. The College Vice Dean then delivered a speech in which she affirmed that the anniversary of the National Day is a commemoration of the unification of the kingdom and its establishment by the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud (may Allah be merciful to him), as well as the continued efforts of his righteous sons after him. She concluded by thanking Allah for the blessings of security and safety.
Next on the program was a video presentation entitled, "The Unity of a Country and the Faith of a People Who Love their Homeland and Are Loyal to their Leadership". The presentation was prepared by the Director of the Media Unit. After that came the participation of the director and administrators of the College Annex. Then some students recited some poems. The next segment of the program was entitled, "Painting Our Country the Way We See It", during which the students displayed some paintings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
The ceremony also included the participation of the Department of Education and Psychology, and the following volunteer teams: Al-Kalim Al-Tayyib, Rif, `Ata, and Aftin. Moreover, certain clubs affiliated to the Deanship of Student Affairs partook in the joyous event, including the Religious Awareness Club, Ghiras Volunteer Club, and the Digital Club.
Afterwards, the College Vice Dean and the deputy heads of the departments toured the corners participating in the occasion. The ceremony was concluded with sincere prayers that Allah would forever bestow security, safety, and stability on this dear homeland, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz (May Allah the Almighty protect both of them).
