The College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah organized a meeting to outline the duties and competencies of the academic staff on Wednesday, 20 Dhul-Hijjah, 1440 A.H., at 10 a.m. in the college meeting hall. The meeting included visual presentations made by each member of the Council of the College, starting with the Dean of the College, Dr. Alawi Muhammad Bamahdi. The presentation included an introduction to the duties and competencies of the Dean of the College, his affiliated committees, and the development and future plan of the college.
Next, the Vice Dean of the College, the Vice Dean of the College for Educational Affairs, the Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and the Vice Dean of the College for Development and Entrepreneurship made a presentation which included a detailed explanation about the duties and competencies of the vice deanship and its affiliated committees, in addition to the development and future plans of the vice deanship.
Following this, the Head of the Department of Construction Engineering and the Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering made a presentation about the duties and competencies of the headships of the departments and their affiliated committees, and the development and future plans of the departments. This was in the presence of the academic staff of the college.
