According to the directive of His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, female students were welcomed at the college entrance by the Vice Deanship of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies. The event included a video presentation in which the college welcomed the female students, clarified some instructions about the start of the new academic year, and urged them to renew their intention to seek religious knowledge. They were also encouraged to make use of their capabilities and energies during the year by organizing their time and dividing it between study, rest, and participation in the activities held by the department, college, or university.
The event also included a hospitality service, offering sweets, coffee, and different types of juice to the female students. At the conclusion of the event, the female students expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome, and wrote some phrases on the board specified for them to express their impressions concerning the start of the new academic year.
