The General Department of Educational Services Conducts Maintenance of the Classrooms at UQU's Branch in Al-Qunfudhah

Upon the directions of His Excellency Umm Al-Qura University President to provide an attractive, motivating and supporting educational environment for the educational process, a team of the General Department of Educational Services, under the supervision of Dr. Khalid Al-Mutairi, the General Supervisor of the General Department of Educational Services, have supervised the maintenance of the classrooms at UQU's branch in Al-Qunfudhah, made an inventory of and maintained all the educational and scientific tools and equipment, and counted the damaged tools and equipment to be replaced upon being supplied by the companies. The following items have been completed:

  1. Maintenance of more than 2000 chairs.
  2. Providing 1300 chairs instead of the damaged chairs, quite urgently, within one week.
  3. Equipping 7 classrooms with all the educational tools (including approximately 700 chairs, 7 projectors, 7 boards and other educational tools), with regard to the new urgent classrooms in Al-Qunfudhah.
  4. Providing 2000 new chairs for the colleges at the university's branch in Al-Qunfudhah governorate.
  5. Furnishing and equipping all the laboratories at Al-Qunfudhah University College.
  6. Counting the number of scientific devices that need maintenance, whose number amounts to more than 60 devices.
  7. Maintenance of 3 computer laboratories at the College of Computers and Information Systems.
  8. Maintenance of the virtual computers and laboratories of the College of Computers and Information Systems (female section).
  9. Equipping 2 engineering drawing laboratories at the College of Engineering.

Dr. Khalid Al-Mutairi, the General Supervisor of the General Department of Educational Services, expressed his thanks to His Excellency UQU's President and to the University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs for the unlimited support of the department's efforts in providing an appropriate environment to its students, in line with the Saudi Kingdom's Vision 2030.
