The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies congratulates male and female candidates who are initially accepted for the non-paid PhD programs for the academic year 1440-1441 A.H.

First: To inquire about admission status, please follow these steps:

1. Sign into the applicant's account on the Unified Admission Portal.

2. Click the “My Applications” icon at the top of the page.

3. View the admission application at the bottom of the "Application Archive" list.

4. The admission data will appear in the top of the page.

Second: Documents verification:

All the candidates for admission must refer to the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies (the Deanship's headquarters in Al-Abdiyyah for male students) and (the Deanship headquarters in Al-Zahir for female students) to complete admission procedures after documents verification and making sure they meet the requirements specified in the unified bylaw of the postgraduate studies.

Third: Documents verification period:

The document verification period for the male and female candidates will start on Sunday 3 Dhul-Hijjah, 1440 A.H., corresponding to 4 Aug. 2019 A.C. until 21 Dhul-Hijjah, 1440 A.H., corresponding to 22 August 2019 A.C., according to the order shown in the following table:

Fourth: Candidates must bring with them the following documents for verification:

1. Original or certified copy of the Master's certificate.

2. Original or certified copy of academic record.

3. Original ID or passport. Copies will not be accepted.

4. Original of the English learning certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, or the STEP), as required by each relevant college and program.

Fifth: Candidates who don't hold governmental jobs must provide the deanship with the following:

Status Document printed out from the civil service or Absher system proving that they are not currently holding government jobs.

Sixth: Candidates who hold a governmental job (whether academic or non-academic) must provide the deanship with:

1. Approval from the authorized person (employer) to study for the PhD on a full-time basis along the whole period of study.

2. For TAs and instructors at Saudi universities: the internal scholarship decision.

Seventh: Notes:

1. In the event that you do not show up before the set deadlines above-mentioned, admission will be cancelled.

2. When the candidate heads to the deanship, they must make sure that all required documents are complete and available. Failure to fulfill this requirement shall entail instant cancellation of the nomination.

3. With the commitment to verify the documents, the last date to receive the decisions referred to in paragraph "Sixth" is Thursday 6 Muharram 1441 A.H. After this date, the nomination shall be deemed cancelled.
