The Preparatory Year's football team met the Business Administration College football team in its first round of the UQU President Futsal Cup Championship, qualifying for the Saudi Universities Union Championship, where the Preparatory Year's team won 3/0.

Dr. Saad S. al-Ghamdi, dean of the Preparatory Year, praised the team, and called upon students to engage in the various sports activities. Meanwhile, he thanked Dean of the Student Affairs, Dr. Amr T. al-Saqqaf, for the impressive organization of the championship.
