On Monday, Safar 21, 1438H, the Department of Physics organized a workshop on the basics of scientific writing. The workshop, held in Room 5 – PHYS within the framework of the graduation project course, lasted for two hours, from 10.00am to 12.00pm.

Dr. Afaf Ali, the trainer, explained the steps of proper academic writing, starting from putting forth a draft, to writing down topic, how a survey is made, how to determine the elements related to the research problem, in addition to basics of writing an academic paper, how to divide it, as well as instructions of results illustration, and summary writing. She also explained the importance of citation and references.
