The Physics Department held the closing ceremony for the last semester of the academic year 1439-1440 A.H. at the College of Applied Sciences, in (F0) hall, on Thursday, 27 Sha`ban, 1440 A.H. The ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Fahd Al-Hashimi, the Head of the Department, former retired academic staff members, and all the academic, administrative and technical staff members of the department.

The ceremony witnessed a lauded interaction among the various generations of the former and current academic staff members of the Physics Department. During the ceremony, a number of staff members whose contracts had expired and former staff members of the department were honored. Moreover, a number of distinguished academic, administrative and technical staff members were honored for their excellent performance during the semester.

Dr. Fahd Al-Hashimi, the Head of the Department, delivered a speech, and so did Prof. Sameer Natto and Prof. Yusri Mustafa. Afterward, the attendants had lunch amid a wonderful family atmosphere abounding in compassion, love, and brotherhood.
