A delegation of Indonesian university professors visited the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers on Monday morning, 10 Sha`ban, 1440 A.H. The delegation included:
The delegation was received by His Excellency Dr. Hasan Bukhari, the Dean of the Institute, in his office in the presence of the vice deans of institute and the heads of the departments.
The meeting discussed the situation of teaching Arabic as a second language in a number of universities in Indonesia, including the State Islamic University of Jakarta and the State University of Malang, and addressed potential avenues for collaboration between Indonesian universities and the institute.
